Wales Millennium Centre

Bringing the best of the world to Wales

Wales Millennium Centre is Wales’ national home for the performing arts in Cardiff Bay. One of the UK’s top cultural attractions and home to eight resident partners, this Welsh landmark stages musicals, opera, ballet, circus and contemporary dance alongside the UK’s largest programme of free performances.

Discover the Centre
We’re looking forward to showing you what’s behind these iconic words when you take a backstage tour. Let our expert tour guides tell you all about the Centre and give you an insight into life behind the scenes on a range of Guided Tours.

Bring your students for a guided tour around the Centre. Our guides are experienced in working with all age groups and your visit will be tailored to your group’s specific needs. On the tour you will visit areas not usually accessed by the public including backstage and dressing rooms, learn about the architecture, engineering and sustainable materials used in the building, plus discover art works and exhibitions, resident companies and Welsh language words and phrases relating to the building. Any of these aspects can become more of a focus of your visit upon request.

Tours are available in Welsh or English.
