Cardiff Bay Walking Tour
This is a 2 hour guided walk with a Green Badge accredited guide to celebrate Cardiff Bay. The new and unique architecture of Cardiff Bay makes for iconic international images. But also to remember that just 100 years ago, Cardiff was the biggest coal port in the world. Millions and millions of tons of iron and coal were exported providing rail tracks, machinery and power for the the world. Cardiff earned the nickname Tiger Bay, rough and ready, it was one of the most cosmopolitan places of its age. Included in the tour is a stop in one of the oldest pubs in Tiger Bay.
The walk will take in the Pier House, The Senedd-Welsh Parliament, Norwegian Church, Mermaid Quay, Mount Stuart Graving Docks, Bute Street, Mount Stuart Square, Coal Exchange and Canal Park.
Price is £25 per person, minimum of 2 people to run the tour – group size maximum of 7.
