  1. Be very careful when paying your entrance fee as there are no notices to say that half the pool is shut and the staff take your money and say nothing. When we asked the lifeguards why the lazy river etc was closed they said that it wouldn’t be opening until 5pm when
other people would be arriving as it would be after school. I find this rather discriminatory when there were several people there (adults) who wanted to use that area. Since when has that area only been for children? In addition to this there were swimming classes taking place so a quarter of what was left was roped off making it an even smaller area in which to swim.

The worst part about this is the staff don’t seem to care at all and I can only presume that
this is the managers instruction and therefore they are left with no choice but to fall in line. As far as I can see it is also a waste of time writing a review because the only
response is an automatic helpful! but the poor service just continues. If you look back at some of the older reviews they are saying the same thing and clearly nothing has been done!! I won’t hold my breath. At the end of the day when you use a public service of any description you expect to be able to have access and use all facilities to which you are
entitled for the money you have paid, anything less is bad service and false advertising of what should be available for use but isn’t.

  2. Lots of fun for the family

Travelled over an hour with my children to try out this pool and we were not dissapointed. We spent two and a half hours splashing about and shooting down slides. Plenty of changing rooms too, which is usually an issue in these places. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pool is not open until 11am on weekends and some of the features of the pool are not open until 11.30am. I like to go swimming with the family early before it gets busy so I think it would have been better to open earlier.

  3. Miss Nascimento
Very disapointed the way staff member treat me and my dauther. She is in the wheechair and I had to prove she needs support to go into swimming pool…

  4. hi we are coming to cardif bay in October , mid week, can you tell me if the pool is open for leisurely swimming , and if so the times available please.

  5. unsafe and rude staff

be careful if you have mobility problems the pool is not safe getting in handle by steps wobbly and small steps.I payed to use sauna and when i asked were the lift is i was told to use the stair they could see i walk with stick and i told them i can’t do stairs and the lift was out of order. after being told several times to use stairs i asked for money back then was made to wait for manager asked again why i am waiting refund handed me money and walked away not even an apology. would not use again

  6. I booked free trial and was to pay in June yet never got free use. I understand its not your fault why you never opened but you should have aloud us an extra free week once you opened. Also what’s the point of trying to get hold of you on the phone when no one answers the call sick of trying. This is complete waste of my time I’m cancelling unless you offer me better deal. My grand daughter has also been caught by you too Infact same deal. Thanks but no thanks.

  7. Too expensive for 50 minute sessions for family of 4 costing £26 …. had too book weeks in advance ! Shame as we used swim frequently now in cardiff with better leisure and leisure centre operating the same, this is no longer possible. Shame long gone are the days of grabbing a bag and taking kids for a stress free swim! I fear this will impact our children in the future and we will have a lot of adults who are not water confident and non swimmers.
