By Taxi
Checker Cars is the airport's official taxi operator and
offers a 24 hour service. A taxi booking office is
located outside the arrivals hall.
The approximate cost of a taxi from Cardiff Airport to
Cardiff Central is £26 and Checker Cars operate a fixed
fare system which is the same 24 hours a day.

By Car
The airport is close to Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan,
12 miles west of Cardiff and 10 miles from junction 33
on the M4.
Exit junction 33 on the M4 and follow the signs to
Cardiff Airport along the A4232, A4050 and A4226.

Entrance to the drop off / pick up area, short stay
under 24hours and short stay over 24hours car park is
via the Eastern approach, Port Road
Entrance to the long stay car park is via the Western
approach, roundabout with A4226 and B4265
Drivers are able to drop-off passengers outside the
terminal building at Cardiff Airport, making access to
the airport more convenient.
Pick-up of passengers takes place in the Short Stay Car
Park. This is to comply with Department for Transport
(DfT) regulations forbidding unattended or waiting
vehicles outside any airport terminal building in the
UK.
The first 20 minutes in the short stay car park will be
free of charge for those wishing to meet and pick up
arriving passengers
By Bus
The Cardiff Bus service X91 operates
between Cardiff Central station and Cardiff Airport
every hour during the day from Monday to Saturday and
every two hours on Sundays. The bus journey takes
approximately 35 minutes from Cardiff Central to the
airport.

By Rail
A rail link connects Rhoose Cardiff
International Airport Station to Cardiff Central and
Bridgend.
Trains run every hour from Monday to Saturday and every
two hours on Sundays.
A complimentary shuttle bus service is available for
passengers with a valid train ticket, which connects
with all trains to carry passengers on the short journey
to the airport terminal.
