Capital Shopping Park is a brand new retail development forming part of a comprehensive retail sports, commercial and residential development. As part of the overall scheme the new stadium for the Cardiff City Football Club and the Cardiff Blues regional rugby side with a capacity of 27,000 seats is fully operational. Directly opposite the Shopping Park the Cardiff Athletics Stadium is complete and attracting major competitions. In addition the re-development of the former Ninian Park Stadium to provide new housing is underway.


The shopping park itself extends to approximately 462,000 sq.ft. and is anchored by an Asda Foodstore of about 88,600 sq.ft, Costco of 133,900 sq.ft. and Marks & Spencer Home and Simply Food retail units.


In addition to the main terrace there is a two storey pod with the ground floor fully let and on the first floor there is commercial office or restaurant space benefitting from a south facing enclosed balcony. There is a drive through restaurant planned for the front of the scheme and will be operated by McDonalds and this is scheduled to open in Spring 2010.
